Making I Am Number Four into a movie must of had some challenges. One challenge the filmmakers probably had would definitly be adding in the special effects and fight scenes. Those parts make a good movie, so the filmakers would have to make the scenes almost perfect. It wouldnt be a good movie if you could tell easily that the special effects are fake. Like when he shoots rays of light out of his palms, resits fire, runs unusully fast, etc. It would look stupid if it looked fake, so the filmmakers could have challenges making the special effects and fight scenes look real. Another challenege would be getting exciting scenes. Lots of the book is the main chacter talking in his head and thinking about things. It would be pretty boring watching the actor sitting down and not saying anything because the characters thinking it in his head.

There are some scenes that I think the movie would need. The main one is defintly the fight at the end between number four and six against the Mogadorians. That scene would make the movie so much better. If they didnt have that scene the movie wouldnt be complete. Another scene I think that needs to be in there goes way back to the beginning when number four meets Sarahand other scenes with Sarah would need to be in the movie. Their relationship they make throughout the book is very important. One last scene I think that is needed is when number four saves Sarah at Mark's party and a youtube video is released. That youtube video leads the Mogdorians to numner four, which is very important. Those are three scences that i think need to be in the book.

There are a couple things that I think could be taken out from the book for the movie. I think the scenes where he is at school could be taken out, but only the parts where something important isnt happening at the school. Like his fights or confrontations with Mark i think should stay in, but when he is just sitting in class i dont think they should be in the movie.Obviously we cant see what the actor is thinking in his head, so it would be pointless to put those parts in the movie. Another thing that could be taken out is when hes not doing anything, but just thinking in his head. Those are some things i think dont need to be in the movie.
